Safety routines
Drop-off and pickup
A teacher hands each child to you at the room door, and we release a child only to the people on your pickup list. Anyone we don't know shows photo ID.
Early and late staffing
Two teachers are in the building when the doors open at 5 a.m. and when the last child goes home at night.
Allergies
Tell us about any allergy at the tour. Once you enroll, we ask again in private.
Cribs and sleep
Infants sleep on their backs, in their own cribs, with nothing else in the crib.
Clean hands
Every room washes hands on arrival, before meals and after outdoor play.
Drills
Each room practices fire and severe-weather drills with the teacher who leads it.

Questions about licensing and routines
What does the license mean?
The Mississippi State Department of Health licenses child care centers, and its rules set how many children each teacher may care for.
Who may pick up my child?
Only the people on your pickup list. We ask anyone we don't know for photo ID, and a teacher hands your child to you at the room door.
What if my child is ill?
Keep your child home with a fever, vomiting, diarrhea or a rash we don't recognize. If a child becomes ill here, we call you and ask you to come.
Do you take children with different needs?
We welcome children with different needs. Tell us about your child at the tour and we'll talk about what the day would look like.
Want to see it for yourself?
Book a tour and we'll show you the rooms, the yard and the kitchen.
